What is Junior Allegheny Outback?

Junior AO! is a time for one parent and one child to enjoy God’s beautiful creation and build great memories with one another. It is also a time to be away from the busy schedules and to hear from God in the classroom of the outdoors. Junior AO! is a little rougher than being at home, but only a little. We sleep in screened-in bunk cabins and use portable toilets. There are outdoor sinks but indoor showers (hot water in non-heated stalls).

Who is Junior AO for?

Well, it’s for all kids ages 8 to 13 and you need to be accompanied by a parent. Be sure to bring warm layered clothing, warm hat, warm sleeping bag, Bible, poncho or raincoat, pen or pencils, flashlight and batteries, towel and toiletries, outdoor shoes or boots, tennis shoes, small pack or book bag, and a pillow. Note: We require one adult per child per weekend.  If another child from the same family signs up for a successive weekend with the same adult, the adult does not pay another registration fee. Please contact us if you have any questions! A registration fee of $50 can be paid online, or through a check made payable to OCF.

Jr AO! Start and Finish times

Jr AO! Starts with dinner on Friday night at 1800. The weekend finishes with lunch on Sunday in the hotel at 1200.

Registration fee: A $50 registration deposit is required at the time of registration. The remainder of the fee is due upon check-in.

Refund policy: The $50 registration deposit is fully refundable if you need to cancel more than 30 days prior to arrival date. Within the 30-day window, your registration fee is not refundable.
