Summer Family Camp

family prayingSummer Family Camp is the primary ministry of White Sulphur Springs. Families, singles, young and old come together for a week or weekend to worship God, listen to His voice, and fellowship with other believers from the military society. Adults enjoy speakers and relevant discussions during the mornings and evenings, while youth of all ages attend programs geared for their age group. Afternoons are unscheduled to allow families and friends to hike, bowl, canoe, play volleyball, read, or catch "craw-dads" in the streams. Special activities include horseback riding, a hayride and campfire, an afternoon tea, a square dance, a picnic, and "dress-up" theme meals. See Dates and Speakers!

A Typical Day...dad and baby rocking

Begin your day with an optional prayer time, followed by a leisurely breakfast at 0830. Take a quiet walk with your spouse or spend time in personal devotions at 1000 while children begin their morning activity time. We have Christian college-age counselors who direct the children's activities for nursery through High School.

Join our adult guests at 1030 - 1200 for spirited and relevant discussions about the week's theme and how to apply its biblical principles to your life. After a nutritious lunch at 1230, afternoons are free for unstructured family time, or you can participate in any of our offered special activities. Rejoin others for dinner at 1730, followed by singing and fun at "Family Hour" and the evening adult teaching hour and children's program.


soccer game with dad Children are invited to participate in the children's program here at Summer Family Camp, with classes consisting of Nursery, Preschool, Grades 1-3, Grades 4-6, Jr High and Sr. High. Or families may choose to register their children for the Camp Caleb or Allegheny Outback programs while the other family members attend Family Camp together. soccer game with dad Either way, this promises to be a wonderful opportunity for building family memories.
