Speaker: Chet Arnold, Col USMC (Ret) OCF Deputy Executive Director/COO

Topic: “Finishing Well: One Day at a Time”

About the Topic: When we hear the phrase “finishing well” we might think of looking back at a life well lived and that is true. However, this phrase should characterize each day of our life. We do not know when God will call us home, so it is important to finish well each day gifted to us by our God. In doing that, we will also finish well in the long run. 1 Timothy 6:11b-12a “…Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called…”

About the Speaker: Chet and Michelle celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary this year. They have 7 children and 6 grandchildren. Chet retired from the Marine Corps in 2008 after 27 years. In July 2014 they moved to Pensacola FL to serve as the OCF Field Staff reps ministering to the young officers and their families by inviting them into their home for Bible studies, meeting them for pre-marital and marriage counseling, and discipleship and hosting them in our home for RON’s, breakfast, lunch, dinner, cookouts, pool parties, etc. The Arnold’s also served as Regional Coordinators for the Southeast Coastal Region, visiting OCF members and groups along the Gulf and Atlantic coasts. In July 2023, Chet assumed the role of Deputy Director for OCF. However, they continue to live in Pensacola and are still privileged to minister to those young officers and their families.
