2015 Annual Fireside Conference
When you think about rest, what comes to mind? Maybe your list includes sleep, relaxation, Sabbath, renewal. Maybe a nap comes to mind. Rest can be more than physical relaxation. This conference will cultivate your sense of delight and amazement at who our God is and how He is revealed in Jesus. When you delight in His wonder, then you can find rest even when you are weary and burdened by the challenges you face. Joseph Preston, president of the CCCA Allegheny Section invites you to come to the Fireside where you will be encouraged to REST IN HIS WONDER! Join us for spiritual encouragement, educational opportunities, and fellowship with brothers and sisters in the Lord who serve to accomplish God’s work in and through us.
Main Speaker Information: Dave Overholt
Dr. Dave Overholt is the founding and lead pastor of Church of the Rock (Hamilton, Ontario) which grew out of a cooperative of youth groups. For fun, Dave heads up the youth Family department at Tyndale Seminary, has written several Canadian best-sellers and speakers on the road to thousands each year. His greatest claim to fame is his family who are living the adventure together with him. Dave’s messages will inspire us to Rest in His Wonder.

Head Start- Dick Marks- Consultant | Trainer | Speaker
During Dick’s 30 year tenure as Exacutive Director of the Waynesboro YMCA, he developed the successful “Friendliest Place in Town” program of customer service. Since his retirement he has been speaking, consulting and training at YMCA’s other non-profits and for profits businesses helping them to improve their staff and customer relationships. He has also taught classes internationally. Most recently this past March, teaching 7 customer service sessions in Jordan.
